Valve has officially made the Left 4 Dead 2 DLC announcement that they teased earlier this month. Looks like some old favorites will be appearing for the first expansion, and we don't mean the Midnight Riders.

I've also read that players will control the Left 4 Dead 2 characters with the original Left 4 Dead characters being AI controlled.
